... and the third age in middle-earth begins - the start from the Lord of the Ring litter from Toad x Turbo. 

The last mating is done and we say good bye to sweden. We are happy that we planned such a long time in sweden to give Toad and Turbo the time for their love. 

When we suspected that they are so good, than we could stay a few days less but we never thought that this would be so easy. 

By next Toad litter I am smarter.

And than all happens fast and Toad whiz to her ovulation. 

In sweden they count in nmol/L, to we have to convert in ng/ml. This isn't a problem when you know how to do it. 

That's the reason we visit today Turbo again and he only knows one pace: turbo fast!

After a small playround he mated Toad fast, harmonious and amicably.

We are still waiting for Toads ovolation, but we have enough time and we are doing some walks and hikings.

Sweden is beautiful and so many sorts of moss and breathtaking fairy woods.

Toad enjoy the time as a single princess.

We were at a waterfall in Norway. Whole 500 metres.

We arrived safe and Toad has a playdate with Turbo. They love each other from the first sign and they have a mating although the prosterone was very low. 

I will do a short explaining about the progesterone:

Progesterone trigger the ovolation and this is of course essential for puppies. The female needs progesterone to hold the pregnancy. At the end of the pregnancy the progesterone fall and start the birth.

Logically before Ovolation and maturing a fertilization isn't possible.

The journey begins. 

I have a cold last days, so it was unsure if we travel according to our plan. 

But we were very early, because Toads progesterone was very low and fluctuate greatly. 

We want to do a last progesterone test before leaving, but something went wrong in Dr. Blendingers laboratory. This was the first time in 6 years I go to his reproduction clinic and the frozen semen depot. 

So it is ok, but unlikely we were on our way to the ferry and impossible to make a second appointment. 

So we decide to find a other clinic for progesterone tests. They take blood from Toad and do the test.
