dear prospective puppy owner...

We often receive requests from people who are searching for a pure pet, rather than a sports and herding dog. I am very happy that you are pleased with our website and that you love our kind of dogs. 

BUT PLEASE NOTE :

All of our planned litters are out of pure working lines. 

So, we ask you to consider this seriously & only contact us when you are able to provide :

1. A life time of work for the pup. This doesn´t mean that the dog has to be running 10 kilometres daily, but it does mean that in order to be fulfilled, the dog will need some kind of job to do.

We are happy to speak to prospective owners who are looking to actively train & work their dog: in herding, Agility or another kind of dog sports.  

2. A home for life. Our dogs are part of our  family & we expect the same from our puppy owners. We expect that all our puppies are well loved, integrated members of their family.

Of course we understand that there are exceptions & things happen & we are here to support in those circumstances, more details on that below.

This doesn't mean that you will automatically get a final place on our waiting list for a MegaSonixx puppy, but it is the start of the conversation.

1.) Tell us a little about who you are, where you live & what your home life / family structure is. Which pets & people will be involved with the puppy after it arrives?

2.) What is your work situation? (Employed: full-time/part-time) How long would the puppy be alone each day/week?

3.) What is your living situation? (Owned/Rented/House/Apartment/Garden?) Will the dog have safe access to outside space?

4.) What is the temperament of your current dogs? How do they behave during training, with other people & dogs?

5.) What kind of traits/temperament are you looking for in a puppy?

6.) What kind of training or sports do you hope to do with your puppy? Do you have any specific goals?

7.) Which sex, and if applicable, color, do you prefer?

8.) Do you plan to use the puppy for breeding later on?

9.) Why have you approached our kennel in particular, and how did you hear about us?

10.) Have you ever owned a Border Collie or another herding breed before? If not, why do you specifically want a Border Collie?
